Be a World Hum Intern

We have a great opportunity in the Washington, D.C., area for an aspiring travel writer or editor. Internship responsibilities include:
* Researching and writing blog posts. You’ll scan the web and print publications for potential blog items, some of which you’ll write.
* Reviewing submissions. You’ll go through our submissions folder to identify potential stories and help us respond to potential writers.
* Proofreading and formatting stories for posting on World Hum.
Internship requirements:
* Be passionate about travel, knowledgeable about travel on the web and, more so, familiar with World Hum.
* Have an interest in a career writing or editing.
* Journalism background is a plus, but not a requirement. Same goes for experience with audio and video on the web.
