Jet Lagged Blog Finishes Run

The New York Times’s Jet Lagged blog ends its run today with a post from the man who started it all in early December, Pico Iyer. He concludes a wandering conversation among seven travel heavyweights with a bland but agreeable sentiment. “The unfriendliest skies in the world,” he writes, “are better than no skies at all.”

Kudos to the Times for providing a high-profile forum on the state of air travel. The blog could have used a bit more edge, such as this amusing Wayne Curtis post that has been lingering on the most e-mailed list for the last few days, but it was hardly, as Jaunted taunted, painfully boring.
