“Molvania: A Land Untouched by Modern Dentistry,” the faux travel guidebook based on a made-up Eastern European country, has been getting some terrific press coverage in recent weeks.

The New Yorker says it “displays an acute feel for all the clichés of the genre, including testimonials that instruct how to have an uncomfortable ‘authentic’ experience, rather than a ‘bland, westernized’ one.” National Public Radio’s Robert Siegel chatted with one of the book’s three authors, Tom Gleisner, telling him that it’s, hands down, the most thorough guidebook to Molvania that he’d ever seen.
