Rick Steves Raps: ‘Europe Through The Back Door is Pretty Much the Bomb!’

Now here’s a man who knows how to annoy his kids—and who isn’t afraid of appearing “butt-clenchingly bad.” That’s one comment on his blog post containing audio of “some sick rhymes” he recorded for his daughter’s high school radio station.

The station will air his rap “several times a day all year long” in exchange for a donation. Other comments about his rapping ability range from “If annoyance was your goal… ...Mission Accomplished!” to “That shizz is ill, boo.”

My take? No surprises here. Rick Steves rapping sounds exactly how I would have imagined Rick Steves rapping: Stiff and corny and, somehow, all the more lovable for it.
