Lord knows, finding time to worship on a beach vacation isn’t always easy. Cue a group of Italian priests and nuns who, with some gumption and an air pump, have brought church to the beach.
In the Adriatic coast town of Molise, Reuters reports that a 98-foot-long blow-up church has been erected. Similar attempts at erecting an inflatable church were made in Sardinia last month, though efforts were thwarted by high winds. The efforts are said to be an attempt to bring mass to the scores of people flocking from Italy’s cities to its beaches in summer.
Worried about your vacation gluttony? In addition to mass services, confessions will be taken.
