The U.S. has denied an entry visa to 77-year-old Cuban musician Ibrahim Ferrer and four other Cuban Grammy nominees invited to attend the awards show Sunday. Ferrer is best known for his work on the “Buena Vista Social Club.” According a BBC report: “A U.S. diplomat in Havana said the U.S. administration could suspend the entry of people deemed to be ‘detrimental to the interest of the United States.’” Disgusting.
