Fans of the whimsical French film “Amelie” are flocking to Montmarte in Paris to see the café, and other assorted locations, where much of the film was shot. And the visitors aren’t just French. According to the Los Angeles Times, the film has been so hot in Japan that a number of travel agencies there are offering “Amelie” packages to Paris. Explains Monique Labbe, who co-owns the real-life café attracting all the attention, “The ones who come here are looking for the joie de vivre that she [Amelie] left in their minds.”
