Another semi-travel related quote (the event that prompted it did happen in an airport) made the list at #8: Idaho Republican Sen. Larry Craig’s “(I have) a wide stance when going to the bathroom.” The No. 1 quote? University of Florida student Andrew Meyer’s statement while being removed from a speech given by Democratic Sen. John Kerry: “Don’t Tase Me, Bro.”

I copied this from another site - then I checked, sure enough, Craig never said the words “wide stance” Here is the unedited interview with Larry Craig. http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/08/30/craig.... No where does he utter the words “wide stance” - so for those who believe they know that truth, based on what they have read in the press - this most basic detail being reported everywhere incorrectly should make you wonder By on 12.19.07 at 04:31 PM
