Youngtown: Neil Young’s Hometown Gets Its Own Rock MuseumIt’s been a busy season for rock ‘n’ roll museum openings. COMMENTSNeil Young fans in NYC, I highly recommend the new staged version of Greendale that will be part of the Ice Factory Festival. The festival runs today until August 23, Greendale will be staged July 23-26, according to an article I found. I saw the show’s debut here in Dallas and it’s wonderful--possibly even more engaging than the Neil Young production, which I also saw. I’m not on the payroll. Just passing on a good tip. "They got it now Robbie.” Oh man, Neil is so coked-up in this Helpless clip...I LOVE IT! Think I need to throw on my Last Waltz dvd and crank it. By on 7.9.08 at 10:46 AM
Yeah, I read somewhere that for the Last Waltz video they had to do some fancy editing, to get around the fact that Neil had visible coke-snot hanging out. Gotta love rock’n’roll… By on 7.9.08 at 12:52 PM
Lol, yeah, hes pretty out of it in that video but its still great. He plays it off like a true hero. By on 7.9.08 at 02:51 PM
