World Hum cofounder and coeditor Michael Yessis walked Barack Obama’s inauguration parade route from the Capitol Hill to the White House on January 16, 2009, four days before the new president takes office.

It’s going to be wild in Washington D.C. the next couple of days. Lots of emotion. Lots of excitement. Nice to see. Especially with the economy tanking. There needs to be a lift-me-up.
