Ha! I agree. But Mao did want to be omnipresent even after he died. And every description about China has been overused to a point where they all just blend together. Like, “It’s the oldest civilization in the world,” or how the Olympics is “China’s coming out party”. I used to be excited when the news talked about China, but now, it’s boring and even a little hurtful.
