More Americans Traveling Overseas (But Not Those Staycationing)

imageAmazing. Despite a lagging economy at home, a tanking U.S. dollar across the planet and increasing use of the ridiculous verb “staycation,” more American are expected to travel abroad this summer than last.

According to AAA, more than 25 million Americans will head overseas in the coming months, representing a 2.6 percent increase over last summer.

Americans are still watching their wallets, of course. They’re just heading to euro-free Eastern Europe, China, South America and other places where their sorry dollars go further.

We’re all for it.
