My feeling about this is some combination of awe and disgust. Awe at the scale of the project and the vision; disgust at the sheer excess it represents.

That top photo is incredible. Those buildings that the Burj towers over are pretty tall in their own right.

This tower in dubai is awesome, (to say the least), and can only hope to visit it someday!!

We enjoyed an Arabian style dinner at one of the restaurants at the foot of the Burj Khalifa. The fountains were beautiful and so was the tower. The dinner was fabulous. A must do if you are in Dubai.
