Study Travel Writing in the Digital Age With World Hum
Study Travel Writing: Our 2010 dates for workshops covering travel writing, travel blogging and audio slideshows
01.08.10 | 2:30 PM ET
Travel writing classes abound, but few thoroughly address how travel writing has changed and evolved with the internet. Enter World Hum. Our two-day Travel Writing in the Digital Age workshops, which we launched last year to great reviews, teach you how to turn your travel tales into compelling stories suitable for publication; how to create and write an evocative travel blog (and keep it going once you return from your trip); and even how to produce a dynamic audio slideshow that combines photography and voice-over audio storytelling. We also cover how to use social media to help establish yourself as a travel writer.
Seminars are taught by World Hum’s founders and editors, Michael Yessis and Jim Benning. Our 2010 courses at Travel Channel headquarters in Washington, D.C. are enrolling now:

April 10 - April 11
June 5 - June 6
