1. Che Guevara was essentially ‘created’ through the United Fruit Co & CIA 1953 overthrow of the democratically elected Arbenz in Guatemala (while Che was living there) ...

2. During that same year (1953) the CIA also overthrew the democratically elected leader of IRAN i.e. Mohammad Mossadegh and installed the brutal Shah.

3. Che went on to become second in Command to Fidel and overthrew the U.S.-backed dictatorship of Batista in Cuba, ensuring his place as the quintessential symbol of “revolution” throughout the world after Korda took his famous photo seen in the above tattoo.

4. In 2009, up pops Che’s visage on an Iranian mans arm as they protest for their rightful democratically elected leader aka Mr. Mousavi

5. According to today’s NY Times, it turns out that an early inspiration for Mr. Mousavi was none other than “Che Guevara”

Also, according to today’s TPM: “Moussavi’s earliest political hero was Che Guevara”

I think Tehran is the wonderful place. Che Guevara was a very great person also.

To me Che Guevara is one of the most heroic figures in world history who is a stoic example of what all those who speak of “revolution” should espouse to be.
