Michael Dukakis (the guy who taught us all that one bad photo-op can ruin your whole presidential campaign) makes the case in today’s L.A. Times for a high-speed train connecting Los Angeles and San Francisco. We know, it’s a pipe dream. But we can dream, can’t we?

Stupid and moronic leaders of CA. If they want to lower emission, mass transportation on electricity is the answer. A 10 years old can understand this. How many more years does it take for politians to understand this?
Driving on cars is just stupid for long distance while traveling on trains save more than traveling on cars do. We save more time on bullet trains, more gas, more enviornment. The result is more back to everybody in CA.
We definitely need electric bullet trains. No doubt about it !!
