Airport Security: ‘Where Are All the White Guys?’

Over at Homeland Security Watch, a retired police officer ponders the randomness (or lack thereof?) of secondary screening procedures at airport security. As someone who gets flagged for the extra search nearly half the time, I’ve asked some of the same questions myself. (Via @frugaltraveler)

As a person that works in the travel industy and flies a lot I have also wondered about some of the random screening methods. If anybody has tried to figdet around in the line you are bound to get checked, after that there is defenitely an unrandom criteria just like the poster mentions. Sometimes if just happens too often to some people /type of people. I reconsidered what the word “random” really means.

I don’t really have a beef with the TSA folks. G-bags makes TSA approved bags. Keep your Note Book in the bag where it belongs! I recently checked through several airports using this bag. I actually had several TSA agents tell me they loved them, because it eliminates less items on the conveyor belt. Think about it, if everyone had one of these we could eliminate a ton of Gray tubs! They have a video on this page that shows how it is used. Peace-
