Anti-Jet Lag ‘Concept Room’ Offers Blue Lights, Banana Smoothies

Those are just two of the remedies being tested in an anti-jet lag “concept room” at the Westin Chicago River North hotel. The Today Show’s Peter Greenberg reports the blue lights are meant to make travelers feel more alert, while the smoothies are considered calming.

Also under evaluation: oscillating fans, talking meditation machines and “stumble lights” that switch on when you get out of bed. 

No word on whether they plan to stock the mini-bar with Viagra.

That’s a load of bull. The only thing that a flashing blue light will give to a jet lagged passenger is a bigger headache. All you gotta do to get rid of jet lag is to not sleep for a day and a half. :)
