We flew into Terminal 5 from Budapest yesterday morning and all was well—except for baggage claim. An hour after landing, a BA rep showed up and figured out the bags that were circling were from Vancouver (and only half of Vancouver’s as they were also on another turntable.) Turns out about three flights’ bags were in the wrong place. Our whole flight’s were sitting in the back somewhere the whole time. From what I overheard, sounded entirely like human error (or human I-don’t-care.)

But to their credit, when we flew in from NYC a week ago, Terminal 5 was flawless.

One must just assume one’s bags will not arrive on time at Heathrow.  Perhaps it’s a conspiracy with the luggage and clothing retailers at the airport?
