Mark, your blog is awesome.  I enjoy reading all about your road trip adventures.  I too have taken many summer roadtrips, especially in the western United States.  Sometimes I just stay at campsites, but other times I look for inexpensive hotels.  If my trip lasts long enough and I stay enough nights at certain hotels, it’s not hard to earn a free night.  I wish you the best on your future travels.  keep up the good work!
