Very cool. I remember when Jan changed genders, although I bet that is not the thing she wants to be remembered for.

Belated Happy Birthday, Dear Jan Morris.  May every day be a new beginning for you, forever.  Congratulations.

You have provided me with untold “traveling” joys as I’ve read [almost] all your amazing books, one by one by one.  I thank you for these precious journeys, I thank you for you, and I will never forget our once chance meeting in San Francisco a few years ago, when for a few moments—accompanied by a great handshake!—we exchanged a few precious words.  You are unsurpassable.  A noble Lady!

I look forward with eager anticipation to your latest “last” book!

With much gratitude and love,
Erika Atkinson
