Thomas Swick celebrates German travelers—“The world’s greatest travelers,” declares his column’s headline—in Sunday’s South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Like knowing English has no word for putsch, it is a small linguistic jetway into national character.” Don’t miss the last line of the column—a terrific quote.
