While it is a superb photograph, the caption is a little off. “An outhouse way out there—in the Canadian Arctic”
You can hardly call it remote when the capital of Nunavut Territory, Iqaluit, is clearly visible in the background. It’s also disingenuous to imply that the outhouse sits alone in the middle of bugger all when in fact it is surrounded by a territorial park containing a parking lot, barbeque pits, camping area, and a lookout pavilion as well as being right on top of one of the best arctic char fishing rivers in the area.

Rick, to be fair, I think most folks can agree that Iqaluit qualifies as remote in and of itself.

And anyhow, its the arrangment of clouds that makes the outhouse look like the center of the universe that makes the picture. IMHO
