Nice idea. Trouble is London’s not Tokyo and London drivers and especially cyclists are not as patient as they are in Tokyo. Apparently the lights at Oxford Circus will turn red every 90 seconds. If you were a driver or cyclist would you be happy having to stop and start so often? No way, you’d try and jump the lights.
