Wow! That’s amazing - I didn’t realise that the entire country was covered.
@Cosmo I presume you are joking. Individual weather events neither prove or disprove global warming. And in fact, the long-term climate forecast for Britain is for it to get colder. London is actually further north than the US-Canadian border, but you wouldn’t know it from its climate because the Gulf Stream southerly winds keep it warm. The climate change modelling shows that the Gulf Stream could switch off completely, meaning much harsher winters.

I see that it’s really nice.I think climate change modeling shows that the Gulf Stream could switch off completely, meaning much harsher winters. thanks for this info.

It looks wonderful—but—-I know all about this photograph as I live in Nairn in the Highlands and we couldn’t get out for a month as the snow froze, then more snow on top- like an ice rink - it lasted a month and thank goodness is away now as I have clients coming to Scotland on holiday soon for a self drive tour!
