Postcards From the Real World

I like buying postcards when I travel, partly because I’m cheap, but also because they’re fun to collect and to mail to friends anytime.

But my favorite postcards, the ones I cherish and don’t send to anyone, don’t have postcard-perfect images. Watch my slideshow and see what I mean.

That piece makes me want to go out and buy out the swirly postcard racks in mini marts and budget hotels across the country. Good stuff.

And always, always check the desk drawers of hotel/motel rooms. Most of the best are freebies.

I really enjoyed looking at these! Great post. I have some Frida Kahlo postcards from Mexico in frames that I was thinking of changing to photos of my neice and nephew, but this made me want to keep the postcards up! Thanks!
