You bet I am using this stimulus money to get out and see the world. I am tired of sitting around here and pouring the money back into the pockets of the Busch Family and Friends. I want to change my weak dollar for the strong Euro and see my buds in Scotland. If I find just a speck of the kindness and honor of that I found in Ireland, I will spend down my Savings there!

Timothy:

i presume from your comment about being tired of sitting around and pouring the money back into the pockets of the Busch Family and Friends that you must be spending too much money on cheap beer.

The Access America survey says 9% of respondents want to spend the rebate check on travel, and not 10%. On top of which some of that 9% will back out and pay off the pending bills, or start an IRA or a college fund or something like that. I’d say a more realistic figure would be around 5-6%.
