This is not Roy Orbison’s very best song, but it sure is nice to encounter it here. The vulnerability behind Orbison’s voice makes it one of the most honest instruments in rock history.

I thank you so much for remembering Roy Orbison, his music and great songs. Sure, it is not the best song of Roy -beside, it is a cover- but all about Roy is so touchable and interesting… Roy was a good man, so gentle and human, unfortunately with very sad destiny! May dear God bless his beautiful soul!

I heard this song for a first time during the concert of Celine Dion. It was great and exciting, covered with picturies from previous concerts from whole the world.

Thankyou so much.
This song reminds me of my long distance relationship with my husband when he was in the service.
My sister also had a long distance relationship with her husband, having a home in Montana and Washington.
This song feels good.

Not Roy’s best song????
WHAT!!?????
It’s one of my favorites! Great feel-good up-tempo song featuring the best voice EVER, in my opinion. And I have a vast collection of Roy Orbison songs in my collection, to choose from. This one’s in my top five favorites from songs spanning from 1956 onwards, and not exclusively his greatest hits.
Thank you for featuring this song. May I suggest you have a listen to another traveling song by Roy - called “Ride Away”? ;-)
