The new U.S. ambassador to Canada has been blogging his life up north, reflecting on everything from his first taste of poutine to a childhood road trip to Niagara Falls. Look out, blogosphere—that’s some well-connected competition. (Via The Globe and Mail)

It makes sense that as someone who routinely interacts with another country or culture, an ambassador like David Jacboscon could make a good travel blogger.  Kudos to Ambassador Jacboson.  But I was a little let down that he offered no description of his experience with poutine.  C’mon Ambassador, let us know what you were thinking when those cheese curds were squeaking away between your teeth. 

And he left us no gastropolitical insight on the Obama cookies either.
