It could happen. The President-elect, born and raised in Hawaii, grew up loving the cheap, carbo-rich traditional Hawaiian lunch of white rice, macaroni salad and some kind of pan-Asian protein—kalua pork is a favorite.

mmm that looks delicious. The mystery meat should offset some of the carbs =) At least that’s what I’d tell myself…

That mystery meat of the Hawaiin islands remind me of the man himself, what do we really know about the new item on the menu? Smothered behind a scoop of white rice and macaroni mixed with mayo can we reallllly rely on the media hype of being good for the counrty, ops I mean you health????

“More recently, the health-conscious plate lunch has surfaced, in which brown rice replaces white, salads are offered instead of macaroni and misoyaki butterfish is as common as fried pork cutlets.”

Health conscious? Ha! Man, that’s a straight-up Haole Plate Lunch. Blasphemy.

Two scoops I don’t need but I just love-love-love the kalua pork, steamed cabbage and heavy on the mayo macaroni salad. You need this from all the outdoor activity, right? Am I right? Anyone?
