Hi Worldhum:

I’m always interested in what is “most read.” I believe more people have read “War and Peace” than “Remembrance of Things Past.”

No offense to Tolstoy or Proust, but I’d rather read my own writing. If you haven’t read something you’ve written for a couple of years, and it’s in print, it almost feels like someone else wrote it, I guess (considering you wasted days, weeks, sometimes months revising it—to get it just exacterly right).

My friend Senior Hausing doesn’t believe in revision. Whatever the Muse sends him is meant to be as soon as Mont Blanc pen hits paper or dainty index finger alights on I.

I have a serious travel bug called “sour grapes.”

I’m interested. Roughly how many hits a day does Worldhum get? It could be millions!!!!!!
