I love reading adventure stories and have tried my hand at on an occasion. I have not abandoned my adventure writing, just delayed it for now. Writing is not that easy. My biggest challenge is to find the words to be able to drag the reader into the action. In my mind the success of an adventure story lies in its ability to get the adrenaline running in the reader, for the reader to smell the grass, the grease and to absorb the reader to the point that the story line becomes real.
