This is interesting. For the last few years, I’ve noticed that new skyscrapers, even in Manhattan, don’t remind me of New York anymore. They remind me (then) Hong Kong or (now) Dubai. I mean, look at the Hearst Building and tell me it “looks” Manhattan. It doesn’t. It looks Hong Kong.
