Hard Rock Park and the Led Zeppelin Roller Coaster
The park opens April 15—it will be fully operational May 9—and Hard Rock is auctioning off more than a dozen tickets for the first ride, with proceeds benefiting charity. The Charlotte Observer offers a fine overview of the park’s attractions, including the Zeppelin coaster, whose track “runs close to three-fourths of a mile with six inversions and a 120-foot loop.” According to Myrtle Beach Online, the Eagles and Moody Blues, which both have songs featured on rides, will play at grand opening festivities June 2 and 3. Which Eagles song is featured? “Life in the Fast Lane,” of course.

After visiting the park I found too many rides shut down and Max RPM not operational, also many of the entertainment stages were empty.
