Win a Trip to Space. Maybe.

imageAstronaut Buzz Aldrin, fresh off his, uh, groundbreaking walk on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, announced plans yesterday for a space travel lottery. Questions about the legality of such a lottery remain, but given the hype surrounding the impending debut of space tourism, I imagine something will eventually be worked out. At this point, the lawyers are sure of at least one thing: Winners will not be able to sell their trips on eBay.

Don’t want to wait for the lottery? According to an MSNBC story, at least one potential space-travel provider is already offering an online “skill” game where wannabe astronauts can earn a future trip to the moon. And, yes, it’s a round-trip.

I found the eSpaceTickets.com website that has been in business since 2000. They have a cool idea and GREAT odds to win a flight to the edge of space. I am impressed with their space tourism work of this outstanding aerospace company!
