Hey Matt + Rolf, congrats on your ownership of the American Dream.
Matt, cool to see that a copy of my Lonely Planet Mexico guide made it’s way on to your Brooklyn bookshelf.

Watch out Rolf. That house of yours looks like it could get sucked up in a Kansas twister!

Rolf—
Having been raised down in Newton, educated to a slightly higher degree at Wichita State and having relatives in Salina and surrounding burgs, I suggest that November through March will be good months for you to be traveling, writing and “missing your modular home” (which was probably built in Newton). It looks more inviting without the snowdrifts.

I enjoyed the slide show and the views of Kansas prairie land. What struck me about both of your experiences leading into the purchase of your homes is the perspective that travel gave. You might find travel even more enjoyable now, with the roots your homes give you.
