As a Canadian, I have to tell you, the country is EXACTLY as cold as you fear. During the winter. As long as you either skate or ski, or drink, the winter is bearable. And then it’s spring and we become happy again.

Mind you, Arjun is speaking as an EASTERN Canadian.  Here on the West Coast, the world stays green and mild and flowers bloom year round ;)  A Vancouver winter means skiing in the morning and golfing in the afternoon…

Hey, we’re not called the True NORTH Strong and Free for nothing! Winter is part of our national identity. I wouldnt trade it for anything.
