image Bad news from the UN: A lack of snow on snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Shrinking glaciers in the Rwenzori Mountains. Disappearing Lake Chad and Lake Victoria. An almost 400-page report released yesterday by the United Nations Environment Programme contains the details—and many scary satellite photos.

Hi from Chile,
It is very scary to realize all the changes we have in the world, due to our own responsability.
In Chile last year we saw how one lake disappear in the Northen Patagonia.  Some months later, this lake appear again, however without the same quantity of water it used to have.

In the same area (Northen Patagonia) there is an idea of creating small dams, and that means to destroy Chile’s Natural Environments. So the big question is:  When are we going to stop?

Take care,

Ximena
