But music fans are still laying out gobs of cash to be able to scuba dive with String Cheese Incident and play bingo with the Disco Biscuits. In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, Evan Serpick reports that musical cruises are a hot travel ticket.
Dave Matthews and Kenny Chesney are playing on cruises scheduled for this month, and Maroon 5 are rumored to be playing aboard a voyage in 2007. The interest in the cruises comes a little late for the venerable music magazine. As we’ve posted before, these cruises have been popular for a while.
