Check out this cool (if slightly disturbing) map of every McD’s location in the lower 48—where, apparently, you’re never more than 107 miles away from the nearest Big Mac.

When I look at that map, I do not see it as disturbing, but rather as a sign of progress. After all, every traveler should take heart in the fact that even if they are lost in the bowls of South Dakota, they are no more than a 2 hour drive from the nearest clean restrooms, cheap food and free refills.
