I’ve been tracking that missing flight since June 1, but it’s still spooky. Sure they hit a storm and all and it took a long time to find the spot, so a lof of the stuff is at the bottom, but this kind of thing seems to happen a lot in the Bahamas. planes vasnishing without trace, I mean…

I highly doubt that the “Obama effect” has nearly as much (or any at all really) to do with increased Peace Corps volunteer applications as many people would like to assume!!!! A far more realistic explanation might be the fact that many people are now unemployed who haven’t been in the recent past and are looking for meaningful ways to spend their time! Recent college graduate applications are also probably up since it is harder to find jobs than in years past; even with a degree! This upsurge in applications is a side effect of the economy and has nothing to do with Obama!!! There was even a recent link in the “Morning Links” a month or two back about this!! Should we give the man credit for my exceptional latte this morning too????

I think Air France crash is just a tragic accident. I can not imagine how the passengers on that airplane must have felt knowing they were going down into the ocean with little or no time to prepare. You never know when your time is up.

Living out of a suitcase: I always save my worst undies and socks for travel and toss them as they get dirty. It helps to air out your dirty clothes, you can hang them over a chair or in an open closet, lay them atop a table or bureau h. It mitigates moisture and odor. Another great deoderizer is a small bar of soap. You can use it to wash yourself in a pinch.
