I think the very limited number of tickets available to public deterred more visitors than the Communist Party expected. I read that party members and corporate sponsors rec’d the lion’s share of tickets but didn’t use them so the organizers had to bus in school children to fill seats and their lunch money didn’t go very far. Boo hoo!
