I had the pleasure of listening to a short reading by Elliot Hester at Quail Hollow Book Store in Raleigh.  It has made me wish to sign on to an airlines just for the free mileage besides wishing to read both books.

Thanks for the good writing and the freedom to explore.  Through you, I can experience some of these situations.  Since I am female, I don’t think the world would be as “safe.”  So, I will choose to travel in the safest of places and read about the others.  My wish is that I can accomplish this.  I am now 57 years old and want to be a flight attendant?  Teaching must have gotten to me!!

My mother has traveled around the world.  Ode, to the cultures and experiences that she had encountered long ago!!

So, Elliot, any suggestions on being hired?  I am petite, young for my “age,”, do pilates almost every day, and have been told that I am good looking.  I am most gratified that I am well educated with two masters—way too many, and am a life long learner!!  Can you even imagine that I used to be a ballet dancer in NY?  My old “art “of being on stage is exemplified by the classroom presentations.

Do take care.

I so enjoyed the stories.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Gloria Robinson
