American Airlines Flight 1053 made an emergency landing in Nashville earlier this week after a woman struck a match to mask evidence of a troubled digestive system. Here’s a sampling of what they came up with to describe the story:

New York Daily News
Her Seat in First-Gas Section KOs Flight

Dallas/Fort Worth’s WFAA.com
Terror Threat? Er, No ... it’s B.O.

Cape Argus
Gust of Wind Forces Jet to Make Emergency Landing

St. Petersburg Times
Air Pressure was Fine, but They Still Wanted the Masks

South Africa’s Independent Online
One Fart is All it Takes to Land a Plane…

And, predictably, from The Conservative Voice:
Plane Makes Emergency Landing Due to Woman’s Flatulence
