Weird you should have US-395 and world’s most dangerous roads next to each other. That 2-lane stretch of 395 between I-15 and Ridgecrest with all those blind whoop-de-dos is one of California’s deadliest. I’ve driven some pretty hairy roads, but they didn’t scare me like that one does.

I agree, TambourineMan. I’ve driven that stretch many times. It’s scary, particularly with so many lumbering trucks. I prefer driving through LA and taking the 14 through Lancaster, etc. to the 395, avoiding that section altogether.
