Travel Section Letter of the Week: Celebrities Run Amok

Fed up with references to celebrities and “glitterati” in the paper’s travel section, John. S. Koppel wrote to the New York Times: “Has it ever occurred to you that many of the Travel section’s readers might simply be interested in travel, and might not share your obsession with celebrities and your evident relish for the shallow, socially toxic cult of celebrity?” Hmmm, I suspect Koppel will not be stopping by World Hum to read any of this.
