We’ve all met one on the road: The posh, be-scarved, bantering British student—sometimes known as a rah—who alternately chunders and philosophizes his or her way across Southeast Asia. Here, in case you haven’t been in a Laotian guesthouse lately, is a note-perfect caricature to tide you over until your next encounter:

Hilarious!  “Insignificant Truth” indeed!  Must admit, I’d not before had the pleasure of hearing the expression “chunder” (guess I need to spend more time w/ the delightful Brits.)

Thanks for reminding me why I steer clear of hostels/guesthouses in my travels.

Hmm, almost note-perfect. The personality, vocabulary and plot line was spot on parody but the accent didn’t hit the spot for me.

gotta say this is actually hilarious 2k10 :’‘) it’s quite funny u shud say that coz it reminds me of this time I was on my gap yah? I was in Africa and there was this woman with malaria and she had flies in her eyes and she looked at me with this vacant glare as if to say yeno despite our differen we we shud be together as one and then I just chundered everywhere and I thought HA take that nature 1nil btw I no the quotes ain’t in the right order but there just my favourite LMAO :L:L
