This is terribly sad. Hopefully viewing marine life in a such sterile environment does not become the only way we can ever see such beautiful, graceful creatures as we destroy their habitats. Images such as these should inspire us to care far more about the creatures we impinge upon with our society that is, for the most part, utterly devoid of caring for other species.

Feeling of sadness is not helped by music. But you’re right, Jim, we should be taking care of God’s creation instead of destroying it.. I think it is interesting that the marine environment at this aquarium is not crafted to look like an underwater scene. No plants, seaweed, kelp, coral or even rocks or sand. Guess it is easier to keep clean that way, but everyone I know who has ever had an aquarium has endeavored to make it realistic.
