Snowmobiling. I had my first-ever excursion last weekend on a series of frozen lakes about an hour south of Whitehorse, and—carbon footprint be damned—I loved flying over the snow alongside wolf and caribou tracks.

I loved how Panama’s Rómulo Castro y el Grupo Tuira sweetened up a clave rhythm on “Vuelven a volar las mariposas.” The song goes well with a shot of Panamanian rum poured atop a scoop of vanilla ice cream:

I loved flying over the Rockies on the way home from Washington, DC Monday, looking down at puffy white clouds and snow-frosted peaks—hence, my enduring love for window seats. Here’s an iPhone shot:

I got a kick out of the brilliant Angry People in Local Newspapers, which this week featured several local people angry about road safety and bus lanes.

Glad you like it, Eva. The iPhone camera isn’t bad. It could never replace a 35mm, but considering how small and convenient it is, it does a decent job of snapping pics.
