Flowing Data offers up a map showing that some parts of the U.S.—we’re looking at you, Wisconsin—have more bars than supermarkets. Equally interesting? Spotting the areas on the map that seem to have precious few of either. (Via @julia914)

Wow. And you can actually buy all kinds of liquor in grocery stores in Wisconsin.  They’re not messing around.

As a lifelong Wisconsinite, I can’t help but feel a little pride. Bars are treated a lot like grocery stores here. :)

My area of Montana is on there- which rings quite true! As for the gray area- desert, farm land and parks…
